What Customers Say About Atlas of Human Anatomy:

A staple in any medical or massage student's library. Netter's Atlas is a wonderfully orchestrated book of phenomenal illustrations and photographs. The amount of detail you get from this book exceeds all other books of anatomy (in my opinion) and lets you see parts of the anatomy from several different views/angles.

We have an anatomy text and use Grant's dissector for our cadaver lab, but I think this book is more useful, at least visually, for me. The illustrations were very well drawn and detailed that I have been practicing drawing structures from this book as well as from my lecture notes. We are using a text by Moore and Agur on basic anatomy, and it's helpful as well. There isn't any information on structures, it's just purely an atlas for reference, so it's definitely good to have an actual text to go along with it. This was an optional book for our anatomy class, and I think it's a really great one to have. The pictures are extremely detailed and it helps reinforce all the material we learn in class.

I had to use Elmer's glue to reattach the corners on both the front and back covers where they were delaminating. Excellent resource. Only issue is the resold copy was not quite as good shape as suggested by the buyer.

Then I found out that several of my classmates were having the same problem, some of which included pages falling out because of the cracked spine. I treat my books well, so I was disappointed that such an important book had poor binding. So, the soft cover edition is great for study, but if you want a durable reference that will last your medical career (or at least through med school), get the hard cover. As a medical student, this book has been an excellent anatomy atlas. I've had the book (soft cover) for barely seven weeks when the spine began to split.

Great learning tool and detailed pictures. Very helpful for identifying things in the lab portion of Anatomy.
